important details and everything else in general.

We provide a Tour Manual for client prior to the trip as an outline for preparation. Readiness will mean more time left for things like photography or beach lounging. But we're happy to hear from you and we'll do whatever is practical to accommodate any special needs our customers may have. Just be sure to let us know early on.
Appreciation of nature is universal and silent approach and observation usually has the best results.
The group needs to be comfortable but resilient enough to take it as it comes to safely discover one of America's most precious places. Our job is to help you find that place. Before each tour we'll carefully go through a complete orientation, fitting and check of all equipment. We'll review the rules of the road, maps and/or charts and emergency rescue procedures and other safety issues.
Our guides and support teams are extremely customer service oriented. Trustworthy and life experienced guides are who we are. Although extensive experience exploring the swamps and estuaries is a mandatory qualification, it is also very important to know we all contribute unique observations and interpretations of the ecology. We also love sharing or just listening to clients and learning from friends and local experts. We are nature geeks.
Our practical knowledge combined with attending nature lectures, studying course books and personal research make for interpretive tours that are fact-filled and fun. We have several naturalist guides, maps and identifier books on hand for reference and discussion.
We are always ready to learn more as the Everglades is our love and main curiosity. All of our guides have swamp savvy and are confident and relaxed in all settings and enjoy sharing information and ideas.
We are an adventure team "that's been there before" and we are well prepared to adapt to unexpected situations and almost always make it look easy.

We have or can get, with advanced notice, most any particular item requested by our customers and will assist with logistics before and after the tours. We offer concierge service and airport pick up and drop off is available.
An initial deposit of 50% is required for reservations and full payment due upon departure. A 10% discount shall be awarded when any groups of 4 or more sign up together at the same time.
A 5% credit card processing fee shall be included if applicable.
Student discounts are also available.

Our tours are a physical and mental challenge and our environment sometimes harsh. Each participant assumes their own risk and is responsible for their own condition.
All of our excursions are supported and back up personnel is readily available and in contact and aware of our current locations. Everglades Edge Outfitters maintain direct contact with Emergency Management Services at all times.
Careful and complete planning is required for a successful tour. We provide all the necessary equipment as we know what works. However, if you prefer to bring or use some of your own gear, we need to plan for your particular outfit accordingly
