Everglades National Park and the 10,000 islands estuary offers the finest opportunity for eco-tour sailing for small vessels in South Florida. At nearly 700,000 acres, a variety of mixed mangrove trees inhabit the old oyster bars and low lying key islands that provide food and shelter for a wide a variety of marine animals. These waterways are an important part of the "Save our Everglades Project" and designated a "World Heritage Site" because of its global significance. The official NPS Everglades web site shows the wilderness waterway and camp sites and keys quite clearly and where we sail and which passes and canoe trails we explore. This diverse marine environment offers excellent opportunities for environmentalists,  nature lovers and those of other outdoor interests to observe what has been preserved and what is yet to be done to complete the restoration of Florida Bay. See true wilderness in a place that still resembles what Indians and early explorers knew centuries ago. Old micro-climates exist among a patch work of extremely harsh and wild landscape and shorelines and transitional eco-systems that offer extraordinary glimpses of a land still evolving. A truly unique eco-experience and adventure for anyone interested in the marine life of the everglades and the 10.000 islands estuary system.

Wildlife and plant viewing opportunities abound as open bay vistas and intimate tidal passes are shared by adventurers and animals alike.
There are always wonderful sightings of unique fish or birds on every excursion as the biological diversity of this region is incredible.
